While some find it horrifying and juvenile - I think it looks awesome.
I'm not a sports gamer - I find it tedious and boring compared to the real thing. But this adds all of the goofy shit that isn't allowed in the real world and lets you enjoy it for what it is - a video game.
A very violent and disgusting video game, but a game nonetheless.
Now someone make me a proper 3d sequel to Mutant League football - complete with gibs, ref bribing, and forcing a team to forfeit because of a properly thrown grenade that wipes out their entire offensive line, the QB, a TE, and their RB.
