Hah! You can move stuff around! That is some cool stuff.. they are really pushing the realistic skating experience to the max. I love it...

I am an HUGE fan of the original, but ironically enough just like my actual skating skills were like back when i skated for 4 years (and never progressed beyond the occasional kick flip), I really couldn't get the hang of the flip-it system.

Don't get me wrong, it makes Tony Hawk look like a combo game not a skating game, and Skate's system is MUCH preferred, but I just wish there was something someone could show me / tell me that would help me get on the path to mastering the skating. It's like the Ninja Gaiden of extreme sports games... tough as hell at the start, but like I've seen with NG, it's pure brilliance when you adapt and make use of the system in place.

i really hope this game keeps with the realism Skate had. looking at that video i started seeing the tony hawk franchise again (really fast, really high jumps)

Wish EA would push these games on the PC. I would kill to have SKATE on the PC!!!

Weehoo! Can finally get off the skateboard. I always thought it was lame when you wanted to, say, get up a curb, and you had to skate back, take a run at it, and ollie up -- just to crash into the bushes on the other side of the sidewalk... But at least you were on the sidewalk!

At least, I hope that's what that was showing... Possibly it just lets you 'tweak' certain bobs in the environment, and not actually freely walk around.

Looking good. Hopefully they re-work the lighting system so there isn't such a huge contrast difference between lit areas and shadows. Drove me nuts when I'd eat pavement from a curb or slab of uneven concrete that was practically invisible due to poor contrast.
