Renegade Kid Working on Big 'Horror Icon' Game, Rumors Point to Dracula Title on Wii
by Blake Ellison, Aug 29, 2008 1:23pm PDTRenegade Kid, developer of DS horror title Dementium: The Ward, announced today that it is working on a secret project based on "one of the biggest horror icons of all time."
Few details were released by the studio or publisher Gamecock, but the announcement and accompanying teaser image are in line with rumors on Gamasutra and GameSetWatch suggesting that the studio is working on a Vlad the Impaler game for the Wii.
According to GameSetWatch, Renegade Kid was already at work on a game entitled "Son of the Dragon," which Gamasutra noted translates to "Dracula" in Romanian. That, combined with the teaser image, can certainly be a reference to Vlad the Impaler, often cited as the inspiration for Bram Stoker's novel "Dracula."
Only a teaser image is available today, but Renegade Kid has promised that more details will come this year.

I've been drowning too long to believe that the tide's going to turn.
I've been living too hard to believe things are going to get easier now.
I'm still trying to shake off the pain from the lessons I've learned.
And if I see Van Helsing I swear to the lord I will slay him. AH-HAH-HAH-HAH!
He'd take it from me, but I swear I won't let it be so. AH-HAH-HAH-HAH!
Blood will run down his face when he is decapited. AH!
His head on my mantle is how I will let this one know: how much I love you.
Die.
Die.
Die.
I can't.

Dracul in romanian means bad, evil. Dracula means just that, The bad, the evil dude. No dragon or son or whatever. those are the romanian words for SON, (depending on the meaning) fiu, fecior, copil, can't think of any other. I didnt know DRAGON as its not very used, but a quick search gave me this : zmeesc (adjective), balaur, zmeu, bală, şarpe, jandarm, diavol (nouns)
wtf
