Reminder: Castle Crashers Hits XBLA Wednesday

As previously reported, Microsoft today affirmed that The Behemoth's hand-drawn beat 'em up Castle Crashers will appear on Xbox Live Arcade this Wednesday.

Sporting local and online multiplayer for up to four players, the long-in-development downlodable Xbox 360 game will sell for 1200 Microsoft Points, or $15.

In all, the old-school brawler packs over 20 playable characters and 40 weapons, including some references to The Behemoth's previous XBLA release, Alien Hominid.

I've been waiting for this for some time now, kind of upset at the initial delay but that was when MS raised the XBLA size limits and I know they can pack in even more awesome than they had before.

I even bought those 1600 MS points from Target for $15 just for this.

I just cannot get into games that use cel shading. They make me instantly think of bad Flash games on the web. I'll try the demo though. Maybe this game will be unlike all the others and overcome my admitted prejudice.

Played it, loved it, can't wait to purchase it. This is a great party game but I don't know if its as fun in 1p mode.
