Fallout 3 Dated: Post-apocalyptic RPG Hits October 28
by Nick Breckon, Aug 20, 2008 12:06pm PDTDeveloper Bethesda today announced that its highly anticipated RPG Fallout 3 will hit store shelves on October 28 in North America.
The post-apocalyptic sequel will make it to European shores three days later on October 31. Bethesda noted that the PC version will be available in digital form, though no specific distributors were named.

I really don't like how Bethesda Software released Oblivion in a messy state, released the mod cosntruction kit, and basically let the community fix up the game for them. I won't be buying Fallout 3, unless the quality standards in this game have significantly improved.
