GC 2008: Sony Announces 160GB PS3 Bundle

Sony today announced that a new 160GB PlayStation 3 bundle will soon be making its way to North America.

The large-volume system will come bundled with Uncharted: Drake's Fortune, a voucher for the PlayStation Network title PAIN, and a DualShock 3 controller. The 160GB system carries the same feature list as the 80GB model.

Sony expects the package to sell for $499.99 when it arrives in November.

Are the 80gb (and this one, I guess) still limited BC, or have they gone to just no BC at all?

Well isn't that super de duper.Now i'll have lots more room to install all those games that take about 30mins to install.Wow im fucking impressed.

Sony may as well start calling the 30 different PS3 models "PS3 X Turbo" or "Super PS3 Hyper 2", since consumers were confused a long time ago.
