GC 2008: LittleBigPlanet Hits Europe October 29

Media Molecule's adorable physics-based PlayStation 3 platformer LittleBigPlanet will hit European regions on October 29, publisher Sony announced at a press event attended by Eurogamer today.

While North American release date was not provided, Sony had previously committed to launching the Blu-ray title worldwide in October.

However, October 29 is a likely candidate for a North American debut. Whereas most European game releases arrive on Fridays, the 29th is a Wednesday, the day that North American retailers typically receive the latest games.

I played this game a bunch at the GC, holy fuck is it fun. But I can't really see it being as fun in SP (i only played with other people). Really good

I really hope I can play with some of my American friends online. It really sucked that in MGO you are unable to play with anyone outside of your region :(
