Duke Nukem 3D XBLA Finished, Coming 'Soon'; Rewards Stripper Tipping, Stepping in Poop
by Chris Faylor, Aug 18, 2008 12:30pm PDTUpdate: 3D Realms' George Broussard has confirmed to Shacknews that the Xbox Live Arcade edition of Duke Nukem 3D is indeed complete, has passed certification and is due out "soon."
"We officially passed final cert on our first try Friday, August 15th," said Broussard. When asked about a possible price point, he noted that it will be "about what you'd expect." While Broussard's comments are open to interpretation, most XBLA releases are priced between 800 ($10) and 1200 Microsoft Points ($15).
In a separate posting on its official website, 3D Realms affirmed that the game's release "is now in the hands of Microsoft."

Anyway I'm all over the speed-run Hollywood Holocaust one (may be some minor mistakes in here, years since I've done this):
I used to try and do that as fast as possible back in the day, if I remember right what I used to do was:
- Shoot out the canisters to open the grate while running towards it, drop down the chute.
- Run straight for the ledge, jump up onto it, go across and into the room to get the rocket launcher.
- Jump down out of there while firing a rocket to open the front of the theatre.
- Run up to the projection room, hit the switch and jump out, firing a rocket while in the air to blast open the screen.
- Jump behind the screen, turn and grab the jetpack, do a 180 and fire a rocket while running, killing the enemy and blowing open the window.
- Jump out the window, activate the jetpack in midair and loop up and over the bridge, land and finish the level.

I'm not being a cynical bastard or anything so don't take that out of context, but I just think it's ironic that BCR (Which changed "Hitler" to "The Leader" and kept those annoying anti-aircraft sites -_- )and this re-release of DN3D with a "to-do list" added to it has us so "hot and bothered".
I can't help but laugh, even if it is at myself.
