In the ever-lumbering march towards an eventual release date, Blizzard has released two new screenshots and three new pieces of concept art from its upcoming hack-and-slash sequel, Diablo III (PC).

Then why even call it Diablo then? If it's not going to follow the traditional dark,gothic feel of the game why even call it Diablo? if it's not going to have the same feeling and environmental elements of the past 2 Diablo games.It's just a big let down if you ask me.

I may need to skip this so-called Diablo since it features queer rainbow themes and wOW graphics. This isn't Diablo, it's the my little pony board game!! Scrap the colorful art theme blizzard it sucks ass.Hopefully some other software company will listen to it's fans needs i will not buy Diablo 3 if it looks colorful, bright and cheerful.Diablo means the devil if you don't know the meaning of the word not some queer ass rainbow world.Don't let the true Diablo fans down Blizzard.

The one shot with the Warrior in it looks like a painted background.

People whine now but they'll buy it anyways, just like everybody else who likes playing games in the known universe. I mean really, people are seriously not going to buy this because they don't like the colour of the trees? Because there's a single rainbow in the game? Because it's not DARK enough? Blizzard isn't trying to make a D2 clone, and they've already clearly explained their decisions regarding the artistic direction.

My prediction is that this steady release of screenshots will continue until Blizzcon. There they will announce a year of release and will show off one other character class. That will end the number of screenshots for a while (since these are all of the demo area they showed in the videos).

Love what I am seeing though.
