Live from the Take-Two Press Conference

6
It's the second day of E3, and Take-Two is making ready to present the last of the major publisher press conferences.

We expect to at least hear more about Gearbox's post-apocalyptic shooter Borderlands, and some details on what Rockstar is up to with Grand Theft Auto 4 DLC. News on what Ken Levine and the 2K Boston crew is doing would be a surprise, as would anything related to BioShock 2.

Stay glued to Shacknews for live updates as the show gets underway.

      A DS GTA game was announced at the Nintendo press conference, I believe.

      When they do their new X-Com game, they should really come out with a classic X-Com game for DS, though, that would be great.

      I will jump from the nearest window if i hear anything like a consolized and dumbed down XCom. :(

      If they are going to make a proper strategy game, then make it good, not a streamlined strategy/action thing. You can't quit options and tactics in a strategy game without losing meat, the meat of a strategy game, by definition, is the number of factos and options you have to manage and tweak and use to make your own strategies.

        factos => factors

        Ugh.. lets not go through that again. Between people going nuts over Diablo 3 adding color and Fallout 3 not looking and playing like a 12 year old game its really draining my energy. I'm hoping for Xcom the plays a little like Freedom Force. Pausable real time. I loved Xcom. I loved Xcom II and Apocolypse as well. I just don't want to go on another 2 hour turn based terror mission to find the last Lobsterman hiding on board in a cabin closet.

          Sorry, Xcom in one of my all time faves. I know the complains and discussions about pc vs consoles are not exactly new.

      Well, crysis adverted. Because not only they didn't have presented any new Xcom game. They didn't have presented ANY new games. Har, har.
