Persona 4 Hits North America on December 9
by Chris Faylor, Jul 07, 2008 3:20pm PDTThe latest installment in Atlus' supernatural role-playing series Shin Megami Tensei: Persona will arrive in North America on December 9, the publisher has announced.
In development for PlayStation 2, Persona 4 tasks players with solving a murder mystery set in the Japanese countryside.
As with Persona 3, players must accent their monster-killing ways with a normal "double life," such as attending high school.
The game will also continue Atlus' tradition of a goodie-packed retail release, with a soundtrack CD "featuring selected music from Persona 4" included in every copy.

I've heard a lot of praise about it from magazines and such but wouldn't mind some more opinions.

It's a shame it was constantly interrupted by an incredibly bland dungeon crawl.
As I understand it, P4 has the same issue...but I'd still say it's worth playing, as I very much enjoyed the non-combat portions of the game (and to be fair, part of the reason it was so boring is that I'd already playing DDS1/2 and SMT: Nocturne, and they all feature a lot of the same monsters/spells/combat, so it was a little old)
