Call of Duty 4 Patch 1.7 Released

The latest patch for the PC edition of Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare is now available, updating the game to version 1.7.

According to publisher Activision, the 39mb download includes the following changes:

Fixed an exploit that allowed players to access certain console dvars during multi-player matches.
Fixed a crash that could occur when a Chinatown Sabotage match would go into over-time.
Fixed a bug where the MP icons (Bomb, Defend, Capture, etc) were always showing up as English regardless of the install language.

The maps that came out as DLC (that you had to pay for, haha suckers) came with the 1.6 patch, and Prestige mode is purely a poor excuse to make petty consolers play the game for longer, so they work their way up to 55, get 1 more kill with their awesome weapons and are stuck back with an M16.
