Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 Screens Kick Off

Konami today announced the development of Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, and passed in a set of screenshots for the upcoming soccer sim.

Formerly known as the Winning Eleven series, Pro Evolution Soccer's latest update includes a major graphical overhaul, new moves and control elements, and enhanced online functionality.

Developed by Konami for the PC, PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PSP, Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 is scheduled to reach European retailers sometime this coming fall. A North American release date was not explicitly specified.

Fall of this year in North America too?? No way!

Usually these games come out in Japan & Europe in the fall and 4-8 months later in the US.
