Damn a TV this big is _SO_ friggin awesome and they are cheap now - you can get a quite decent one for under 1600$ US or 2000$ AUD.

The detail on the screen is FINE, there's no need for 1080p unless you sit DAMNED close or have amazing eyes (or a 65" set)
I sit 2.4 metres from it! It's AWESOME. GTA - I can read the text, see the map etc
