Zoids Assault Screens Get Busy on a Grid

Publisher Atlus has released new screenshots of Zoids Assault (360), an upcoming mech-centric strategy RPG coming to the Xbox 360 this summer.

Described by the publisher as "loaded with deeply engaging strategic gameplay," Zoids Assault features grid-based warfare with customizable biomechanical war machines.

Zoids Assault is primed for an August 26 release.

I know Zoids have a history over at consoles, but I think this might find a home amongst many Pc- gamers as well. Massive Assault springs to mind at first, by lookin at the gameplay trailers. I still play M.A.N.2 occasionally and I think I might enjoy Zoids as well. Too bad it's only for XO...

I read the headline and thought (in Peter Griffen voice) "OMG zoids got a new project...I wondered what he was up to and thought someone told me he was working at NCSoft, or maybe he assaulted someone...that would be sooo funny" and then I realized that it wasn't "Zoid's Assault" but "Zoids Assault" and I was sort of dissappointed.
