by Chris Faylor, Jun 09, 2008 1:24pm PDTResponding to the apparent confirmation of a third Dungeon Siege entry, Gas Powered Games founder Chris Taylor has stated he was only speaking hypothetically when he spoke of the game.
"When asked if we were considering taking lessons learned from Space Siege back into the Dungeon Siege [role-playing] series, the answer was, yes," he told CVG.
Taylor specified that the multi-character parties of the past two Dungeon Siege made it difficult to focus on a central character, which resulted in the decision to focus on fewer characters in the upcoming sci-fi PC RPG Space Siege.
"We have not made any official announcements, or have any official plans [of a new Dungeon Siege game], but we are kicking ideas around," he added. "It would be a long time before another DS game was finished and saw the light of day."
