It really looks great, and I know I'm going to enjoy it; especially the Coop-campaign!
And here's my favorite quotes: http://evenindeathistillsurf.ytmnd.com/
According to the GFW podcast report on DOW2(besides their obvious lack of knowledge of the wh40k world) it seems to be going for a more unique type of gameplay.
Apparently, the game will(atleast in SP) offer no base building. You will get to build 5 squads, and place them where you like. Making the game much more tactical, less macro, more micro... of course alot of people hate micro, but I think it's primarily trying to micro a million units.
Anyway, It will have the DOW: DC commander upgrading stuff(except for all your squads in addition) and you will do missions and stuff, and theres apparently a lot of different endings, as well as fully voice acted squad leaders and stuff!
It looks so awesome, I can't wait:\

tsk tsk...
Makes me wonder if this is going to just be DoW + CoH terrain/cover system + graphics update.

Also, I can only imagine how awesome the next Homeworld is going to look if they are working on it.
I hope they also make a Warhammer Space game using the same engine.

In the end, I found myself playing through the game for the incredible cinematics, not so much for the gameplay. Dawn of war 40k and its expansions managed to have much more fun gameplay(it's all relative), and replayability. I played through the entire game at least 4 times in the Dark Crusade, let alone the single player for the other games, as well as multiplayer. Starcraft I only played on network, or on battlenet a few times, and found it to be too fast to really be able to plan out an intricate strategy.
Also, what other game has so many good quotes? Here is my favorite one...
