BioWare's Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood - The Most Thrilling Adventure in Sonic's History

Am I the only one who thinks they should go and talk to Dic, or whomever owns the old SatAM copyrights, and make a game out of that? There's actually a story there, and one that won't make everyone besides a few preteen kids vomit. I mean, Bioware's good, but this... I don't know, it's a long stretch even for them.

Meh. Sonic to me is about a fast moving platformer with fun bosses and gadgets to avoid or use throughout the levels. It's not about a grand adventure or how many different animals they create characters from. I don't care about the sexual tension between Robotnik and Sonic.

Ever seen the cutscenes to the new games post genesis? What the fuck are these people on? They pretend that he has some profound background. Sorry but he's a HEDGEHOG. A giant blue humanized hedgehog. Just like mario is a plumber who eats shrooms and jumps on koopas. No one cares about these stories and thats why the new sonic games are not as popular.

Watching the PS3/360 Sonic you'd think it was some anime show that has been running for years. Really? I used to play this game in the 90's and all I did was run loops and avoid baddies and spikes. Now all the sudden I'm supposed to buy this "save the world" crap?

I know it's early, but I think my subconscious was reading that post.

I don't know how I feel about this. I'm both excited for this and on the verge of mockery. Will it be good? I hope so. Bioware, don't let me down.
