Will Wright Lectures on Spore Science

Maxis gaming professor Will Wright is bringing a little of that GDC 2005 magic in this new Spore trailer, an overarching video that gives a sense of the game's evolutionary foundation.

The ambitious title will hit PC and Mac on September 7, with the free Creature Creator coming on June 17.

Sorta off topic but could you guys make the bars black instead of white when movies are maximized? On regular-def ones you get white bars on the left and right, and on high-def vids you get white bars on top and bottom. It'd be nice if they were black instead.

This game looks soooooo awesome. I'm worried that, because it's so ambitious, it may just fall flat on it's face. I really hope that isn't the case, but this game really is very ambitious and that can backfire (just look at Black and White for example). Well, here's hoping it turns out as great as it looks.
