Tecmo Bowl Kickoff Footage Touches Down

In addition to new screenshots, Tecmo also released today the first gameplay footage of the upcoming Nintendo DS football revival Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff.

Again, the features: stylus control, customizable playbooks, classic Tecmo Bowl-style cutscenes, and multiplayer over wireless and Wi-Fi internet.

Expect Tecmo Bowl: Kickoff to hit this fall.

While this looks pretty sweet, I gotta say I'm a little bit disappointed that it looks like it's pretty much an exact rehash of Tecmo Super Bowl. I guess I was kind of hoping for a little more. Not sure what though.
