New Space Siege Trailer Available

The cinematography in the spaceship cutscenes reminds me a lot of firefly/serenity in how it is done.

damn this looks pretty good.. and fun.. hopefully it is as fun as it looks

I'm definitely interested in this game, though this trailer seems to have that effect on most people. However, for his next game, I'd like to play something akin to Battlezone 1 and 2(RTS/FPS) set in the Supreme Commander universe...being able to to build a base via bringing your player to a com center and place down buildings, etc. then being able to drive 99% of the vehicles, which would of course be more effective than if it was the AI, because we all know that computers have slower calculations per second when it comes to aiming at people, right? But I do miss those games...too bad there is only one game out recently, of which I can't stop playing and think is more fun and rewarding than TF2 is(and I have over 100 hours logged on that...so I have played the game, and so can critique it), which is Savage 2. Hands down a fun game with committed devs. I just wish that more of this type of game was in the marketplace...without becoming oversaturated like MMORPG's.

I always loved Dungeon Siege but even I thought that Space Siege was looking kind of dull and bland from the previews.

This trailer eliminated those thoughts. DO WANT.

Does anyone get the feeling like they're trying to act as if the really cool ship fights are spread throughout the game, and that are almost certainly only in the opening intro?

They better not of shown all that space ship combat and then say sorry none of that is in it. DS was fun, but after seeing this trailer there better be more than just running endless corridors shooting enemies. Give me damn space ships to fly Chris!

Is the gameplay on this trailer actually real gameplay or is is CG that tries to mimic the gameplay?

I don't understand the combat behind this, is it basically Click to select weapon then click to select target, sit back and stare at the monitor? That seems incredibly boring.

This game seemed stuipd from all the screenshots I had seen, but shows what I know looks really good in the trailer.
