Nintendo: Wii Has 9.5M Install Base in United States; Mario Kart Wii Was No. 2 Game in April

According to the company, the Wii ranked as the month's top-selling hardware with 714,000 units sold in the United States across April and Mario Kart Wii placed as the month's second best-selling game.
Following Microsoft's declaration that the Xbox 360 has sold 10 million in the United States, Nintendo noted that the Wii has now sold over 9.5 million units in the territory.
The company also noted that Super Smash Bros. Brawl (Wii) has surpassed 3 million units sold in the US.

They're all PCs, computers, whatever the hell you want to call them. Consoles have *always* been computers of a sort.
