The first episode of the downloadable point-and-click adventure series will arrive on Wii and PC next month. A total of five episodes are currently planned, with one episode expected to release each month.

I think the problem is much of what makes Strong Bad et al. funny is the comedic timing and flow. It's usually fast paced and quite a bit of the humor is wink wink on the nose. This looks a bit sterilized for kiddie consumption without much flow to it.
I think the cartoon is great, but the transition to user-controlled gameplay looks really flat.
