MS Spring Showcase: Banjo Kazooie Footage

First there were screenshots, then there was an official name and gameplay details. Now there is gamepay footage of Rare's Xbox 360 platformer Banjo Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts, which is due out in November.

Note: The following is unedited b-roll footage. It is meant to be chopped up into little bits for a larger segment and has not undergone the traditional editing process of a trailer.

Wow! I'm actually really excited about this game after seeing this trailer. I love that develpoers are really pushing to include player creativity in games these days, like this vehicle building mechanic in BK. Really capatalizes on the fact that videogames are interactive entertainment. Can't wait to see youtube videos of some of the zanier creations :).

The vehicle stuff could be fun but the stuff around it looks like the usualy annoying Rare collection fest. Did they really have to put collecting in the trailer?

Better trailer IMO. Shows a lot more stuff, though it's fast paced. I love the "boot in box" thing that he uses to kick that other care out of the way.

Ok... I guess that explains why the vehicles looked so clunky and funky. They seem to be modular pieces that you can put together yourself. That could be fun... it's an interesting Idea and opens up a bunch of possibilities.

Looks good so far... there really hasn't been a good platformer yet on the 360 has there? Has there even been any?

Im hoping that this game has some pretty awesome racing for MP. What Ive seen so far totally lends itself to a completely unique way of doing kart racing. If BK has great kart racing, that, coupled with Xbox DLC, could mean new maps after launch!
