New Battlefield Heroes Screenshots Roll Out

Following up on that new trailer, EA DICE has released four new screenshots of its free-to-play PC effort Battlefield Heroes.

The character customisation possibilities feel really strange without female character models.

Giving away the client for free then giving the option to purchase items and outfits is a model I definitely associate with GunBound and the like, which cater for both genders. I realise women are definitely under-represented among the Battlefield playerbase but DICE have made it quite clear that BF: Heroes is a more-casual game. It feels like they are missing a trick here.

I don't feel at all alienated by games having only male characters but when dressing them up is intended to be part of the fun, well, that's a side of the game I will have trouble engaging with. A shame, really.

It's a ripoff. I bet development was started quickly after the release of tf2 since by than they had that artwork thingy done, the rest followed. I stand by my point that EA wants it's own TF2 but doesn't has the balls to admit it.
