Sega of America has released a boatload of screenshots for the BioWare-developed Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood (NDS).

The Dark Brotherhood is set to hit the Nintendo DS sometime later this year.

rpg = slower strategy like gameplay..

sonic = fast paced frantic running and shiny collection of coins.

Something is definitely going to clash with this pairing.
Instant map travel because sonic runs so fast! but then you take 15 minutes hiking up a hill to a castle.

soooo......it's a new sonic game which means it will be bad, but bioware is involved so it will be good. i don't understand i can't figure this out

I don't care if it's a Sonic game... Bioware is on this, so I think it will be awesome. After getting a look at some of the menus, etc. in these screenies, I'm pretty excited about this game. I think Bioware will deliver a great game, despite the license. I don't even have a big problem with Sonic anyway, I have some fond memories of playing Sonic 3 as a kid.
