PC Version Of Mass Effect To Get Xbox 360 "Bring Down The Sky" DLC For Free

One thing that excites me about the PC version... is from screenshots it looks like you can individually issue commands to your two teamates. The one thing that bothers me about the combat in ME on the 360 is that I feel like I have very little tactical influence on the way things go. Yes you can pause the game and choose a Mass Effect for yourself or your teamates... yes you can tell them to use a certain weapon.. and you can give them some basic commands.... In reality though... I don't feel like I have a lot of control. I usually just end up finding a good spot with a bit of cover and blasting stuff as it shows itself and let me teamates fend for themselves (and heal them when they are down). I was disappointed by this because in early videos... it looked like you could actually choose a path for each teamate to take then tell them what to do (attack, cover, use power) etc. If I had a bit more control in the battles, the game would be raised to a whole new level for me.

Question about Mass Effect 2: Would you guys like the idea of coop for Mass Effect 2?

For example, a buddy could pop up on Xbox Live and jump into your game, taking control of Wrex for a little while. Would that be cool or would that complicate things too much?

Why didn't they just include it in the game from the start? This seems rather pointless.

The one thing I don't understand is that the electronic entertainment industry now seems to reward those who wait rather than those who buy something right away. The 360's new versions, the upgraded PS3's, this, Game of the Year edition games ( ie. COD4 and Oblivion), and whatever else. When will those of us who get excited about something and buy it on day one be rewarded?

After Buying/selling MAss Effect 360, I'm debating on waiting for GTA IV and just getting this. Damn staggered launches.

i'm spoiled but thats what i would have expected. see witcher and the enhanced edition.
