Media Goldrush: Valve Releases Screenshots, Video of New Team Fortress 2 Map

Following last night's party for the press, Valve has released a few nuggets of precious Goldrush map media, in the form of four screenshots and some flythrough footage from the new mine cart escort mode.

Look for the PC update--to include the new medic weapons, achievements, and the Goldrush map--to appear sometime in the next few weeks.

In the meantime, check out our hands-on impressions of all the new stuff, as well as our interview with Valve's Robin Walker.

Looks huge and probably tough to balance. Pretty crazy Valve is committed to pumping so much content into a 30 dollar game.

I think the achievements and weapons will be a great addition but this map is pointless i like the new game mode but it looks the same its so generic for tf2 why not a totally different map ? ahh well tiz free :P

I am really looking forward to this map, screw new weapons... the kind of game play is what it's all about. I really hope we see this map in the next tournament (if there is one). I can't wait to defend on this (I'm just hoping it's not a mile walk back to the cart when you die).

It looks just like dustbowl, down to the same building structures.

If it's finished, release it already. It was probably finished weeks ago, but for some reason they're refusing to use Steam's great update feature...

I'm sure this is gonna be cool but I think it would be nice to have something other than the "Old West Industrial" type look in the future... I mean taking a random view from this map you really can't tell that it's not Badlands or Dustbowl etc.
