Guitar Hero: Aerosmith Trailer Features Aerosmith

Accompanying the partial tracklist revealed earlier today, publisher Activision has released a trailer for the upcoming Guitar Hero: Aerosmith, which arrives on PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and Wii in June.

Registered users can use the HD Stream.

As with Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 versions of Guitar Hero: Aerosmnith are being developed by Neversoft, with Vicarious Visions behind the Wii edition and Budcat handling the PlayStation 2 iteration.

This is damn near threadshitting territory but seriously, I fucking hate every Aerosmith song that has shown up in Rock Band/Guitar Hero. Its not that I hate Aerosmith, but just the songs themselves have never been fun to play.

This game is going to be a colossal failure. I can't believe anyone thought this was a good idea. Part of the biggest appeal of these games is getting to play a variety of different songs from all kinds of rock genres.

Is Aerosmith really the most popular rock group amongst the age group most likely to buy guitar hero? I doubt it.

Is there anyone who is even an Aerosmith fan? They have some good songs but does anyone celebrate their entire catalogue?

This seems like a bad idea for a game. Unless you're a huge Aerosmith fan of course. I'd much rather the variety of multiple bands.
