I would love to know what kind of black magic generates those visuals. They look pretty much PS2 caliber despite it being, pretty inferior to the console. Looks awesome -- if I had a PSP that would be a Day 1 purchase without a doubt!

Hello my future gamefriend.

That looks hot. So long as nothing is fucked-up by losing the right analogue stick (WHHYYYY didn't Sony put two on the PSP?? Idiots!) and there's nothing silly like bugs or crazy load times, I don't see how this can turn out bad based on the two PS2 games and the quality of this footage.

I think the game uses the full 333mhz of the PSP cpu. I remember hearing a quote from them saying the screens you have seen early on where on the default 222mhz speed. After Sony dumped the cpu speed lock in the newer firmwares many new games have been running at speeds in between the old default and the max cpu speed. I think the GPU runs at the same clock speed of the cpu so going up over 100mhz is a huge boost. Its like getting a new hardware upgrade except thru software.

Count me in for the Ps2 version. Hopefully it will add the normal dual analog setup for the console edition. It's a shame the stoey isn't quite all there, but it is a prequel, and i am sure it's still fun as hell.
