i just went to look up my shack password so i can post this message for you.
Your game looks like an architecture project rendered in 3ds max 8 years ago. I look at your boring bubbly cars, your fucking devoid of life cities, your Poser clones walking around with their tight fucking asses and i think to myself - that can't possibly be what they are describing can it?
And as red curtain lowers over my eyes i realize that it is indeed what you are describing. Fantastic vision straight out of that pasty marshmallow candy ass who keeps talking about how awesome his pasty marshmallow candy ass is.
This Craig Mullins wannabe "Art Director" who strings photographs together in photoshop - calling it a fantastic vision... i mean here i am sitting expecting fucking NY city in year 2500 with the whole city suspended in the sky with flying fucking cars, and robohookers and cybernetic street hooligans with lazer beams n shit.
And what do i see?
A fucking grad project from Cal Poly Architecture department from 8 years ago.
Pull your heads our of each others asses and go take a look at Gears of War, Assassins Creed, Mass Effect.... these are games out right now, and they look a thousand times better than your monkey crap.

It's kind of funny that call this a developer diary, as though they were putting this video together as a record of their experiences in making the game, rather than as a John-Romero's-about-to-make-you-his-bitch marketing stunt.
As much as it hurts to think about how painful it will be for them, I hope Radical reads these comments (or others like them elsewhere) and see that they have a lot of work that needs to be redone if they want to save this project from catastrophe.

by over-hyping your game (and you are over-hyping. you're being far too vague to be properly marketing your game.) you set consumers up for disappointment. thus, consumers lose trust in video games in general. thus, less video game consumers. thanks guys.

pretty good lighting and stuffs, but they are a ways off from achieving the concept art vision, and the framerate already seems to be in dangerous territory. could be something with the video though.
Time to start using the divx player... oh how I love that player and wish more sites would use it for content like this.
