According to Capcom, the demo features "a sampling of sections from the full game, chosen to showcase Devil May Cry 4's varied locales and allows gamers to familiarize themselves with Nero's unique abilities."
The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions of Devil May Cry 4 will haunt retailers on February 5, with the PC edition following at a later, unspecified date.

It felt like DMC1, but prettier. If that's your type of thing, you'll like this game.

The 10 minutes basically gives you enough time to learn the buttons, get the gameplay and fighting down and then its over. They only introduce you to a bit of the story, with a lot of 'what could this mean' comments. Not overly exciting and I would have like to been able to play a bit more.
The boss battle takes place on a icy castle, which looks great. You first clear out some icy beasts, which basically serve to refresh your memory on the controls. The boss is a four-legged balrog type demon named Berial. This part is really good, I actually played this part twice. I won't go into more detail, see for yourself.
Graphically its great. The detail in the levels, models and textures are all high quality. Audio is typical of this style and of capcom, which is to say very japanese(kiyaaah!).
I've stated previously that I'm not really a fan of this style, so I'll leave it to others to comment on how it compares to similar titles. It did seem moderately entertaining, which means it might be a rental for me - but I'm sure if your into this style of game, it will be great.

Fun demo though. Just enough of a taste to get you to want more :)
Wasn't to thrilled with how often the camera changed views either. Don't mind different camera angles, but in some sections the camera changes so frequently its somewhat disorienting.
