We received new media from Sins of a Solar Empire, the 4X space strategy game in development at Ironclad Games. We have twelve Gamma version screenshots as well as a multiplayer gameplay movie.

I think this game is going to be pretty different - no one's managed to mix the 4x genre with RTS before and early previews looked very solid. This will be one of those games that the mindless masses skip over in favor of yet another repetitive shooter or something equally inane.

      Nah, I loved, repeat, LOVED Homeworld but in no way did it mix 4x TBS-style elements with its pure RTS gameplay. This game mixes both genres seemlessly, by all accounts. I'm very much looking forward to this game and with Stardock publishing it, the odds of it being a high-quality title are extremely good. :)

  - Homeworld didn't really mix the elements of a typical turn-based 4X game. It was a great game, though. : mittense
