This game and everything I have heard from people who have played it have said it is by far one of the most complete and enjoyable in both the 4X and Space RTS genres.

I just wish I hadn't missed the PreOrder Beta window cause I am now able to afford paying for it!
Tom, help me out? :D

I'd been looking for something like this since Hegemonia came out but I entirely despised how Hegemonia represented itself..

I think this game is going to be pretty different - no one's managed to mix the 4x genre with RTS before and early previews looked very solid. This will be one of those games that the mindless masses skip over in favor of yet another repetitive shooter or something equally inane.

Just a suggestion, maybe they should make a video telling us what is going on. Telling us something about the gameplay. Right now it's a no buy for me even though I really like the idea. I just have no clue what is going on besides dots firing dots at other dots and killing said dots.

well, the screenshots that are coming out look good (hand picked by the PR department I'm sure)
but the gameplay video just looked... meh.
looked like a spacebased version of Supreme Commander... which isn't a bad game at all, I like it, but this doesn't seem so WOW anymore.

I'm really looking forward to this game! 4X gameplay ala MoO or Galciv, combined with Homeworld style RTS? I mean sure it COULD suck, but I'm going to hope it kicks ass because I think those genre's will mix really well.
