Savage 2 Dated, Arriving January 16

S2 Games' FPS-RTS hybrid Savage 2: A Tortured Soul (PC) will be released on Wednesday, January 16, the developer announced on the game's official site.

The company promises that the game will be available for both purchase and download on that day, with a demo planned for release on that date as well.

This game looks to be as promising and failing as the first one. Why did they even bother an attempt with a sequel.

the learning curve was too much for this game. Even on demo servers it was 9/10 times you had an asshat commander.

man alive playing this game is a little...strange. It's really a lot more complicated than the first savage and i don't know if that's a good thing. :(
I absolutely loved the first game, so im hoping this turns out well.

From everything I've seen and played in it so far, they've taken out a lot of what made the game unique and most of the stuff which could make every single game of it different from the last and turned it into a two team shooter with some minor differences from the crowd. To be honest I'd rather go back to playing the original savage.

Awesome, I feel like I've been hearing about this game since the first game's demo came out.

I didn't pick up the original because I got bored with the actual fighting so quickly, but I think it had a lot of potential. If they've made the actual FPS elements a bit more entertaining, we might be in for a heluva game!
