Frontlines: Fuel of War Demo Available on Xbox Live
by Carlos Bergfeld, Dec 12, 2007 12:53pm PSTAs promised by Kaos Studios' Frank DeLise, a demo for the developer's shooter Frontlines: Fuel of War (PC, PS3, X360) has arrived on Xbox Live Marketplace. The 1.69GB demo gives a sampling of the title's single player campaign.
The full version of the Battlefield-esque game will support 64-player multiplayer for PC gamers and 32-player multiplayer for the consoles. Frontlines is the first standalone project from Kaos, formerly known as Trauma Studios, the creators of the Desert Combat mod for DICE's Battlefield 1942 (PC).

The Battlefield 1942 demo was amazing in every way, in case you have forgotten it was a multiplayer demo. Had DICE decided to only release a single player demo for BF1942 it is possible the game would be less popular and you guys would never have gotten together to make Desert Combat.
To be blunt, no one cares about single player in Battlefield-esque games. Please consider releasing a multiplayer demo.
Yours truly,
Gamers
