  the X2-6000 is a 3Ghz part, vs the 2.33Ghz of the E6650, it'd be faster..
  
  Of course, if you're planning on doing some overclocking that messes up the equation nicely, but if they're the same money and you want to run stock, the 6000+ is the faster part.
  
  The equation is roughly, Core 2 Duo - 400Mhz = Athlon64 X2
  
  So an E6750 would be as quick or a bit quicker than the 6000+
