Now available at FileShack is Warmonger - Operation: Downtown Destruction, the free Unreal Engine 3 powered multiplayer shooter from Auto Assault developer NetDevil.

The 437mb download includes six levels featuring a wide array of destructable objects and buildings. An AGEIA PhysX accelerator is required to get the most out of this game, however it will run without one.

Unless you have a PhysX card don't bother. i'm running 4Gigs of 6400 RAM, Core 2duo e6750 with a 8800GTS 640mb and its a slideshow. Thats at the lowest graphics settings. It runs even worse than Cell Factor did.

Ageia needs top get the hell out of the mainstream retail sector and start courting the motherboard manufacturers. As a perk on a high-end motherboard it will be a plus, as a $200 retail plug-in its a complete and total failure.

wow, this isn't all that bad. Granted, i only played about 10 minutes of it, but it was fucking awesome blowing up walls and stuff. It seems like you can rip apart just about everything (including flags flapping in the win). The character models are pretty uninspired, but the levels are pretty damn cool- one of them had floating papers/trash flying around in the wind.

Unfortunately, i have everything turned down low as possible and it still runs like garbage on my system
2.6 C2D, 2 gigs of ram, ATI 1950 pro (agp). Also, it uses Gamespy Comrade to browse servers...so, multiplayer is out the question unless you install it or know server ips offhand.

Honestly, it's worth giving a shot if you wanna rip shit apart.
