New Warhammer 40K Expansion: Soulstorm

Another expansion pack for Relic Entertainment's PC RTS Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is on the way. Titled Soulstorm, the third Dawn of War expansion is confirmed to feature new Dark Eldar units and will likely cover the usual bases, including new maps, units, and single-player missions. The initial details appeared in a listing of the online extras for the October issue of PC gaming magazine Games for Windows. Issue 11 of Games for Windows arrives in stores September 30. Expect more information then.

This is sweet news. I kept wondering when we were going to hear about the forthcoming expansions in light of the last cut-scene played well after you beat the Dark Crusade campaign game. Without spoiling anything, it strongly hinted at not just one but TWO new expansions.

I can't wait for this though I wish they'd hurry up and announce DoW 2 so we can all get our Tyrannids, finally. ::: sighs longingly :::: ;)

Wow, I thought they were done with the current iteration for sure. I was expecting some news about Dawn of War 2 at this point. Still, I am interested.

I just finished Dark Crusade with the Tau a couple weeks ago. I was all set to give that game more love until all these new game releases kept popping up. I'm looking forward to this and the Company of Heroes expansion.
