Call of Duty 4 Gets Limited Edition on 360, PC
by Carlos Bergfeld, Sep 11, 2007 10:42am PDTWhen Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, PS3, X360) launches on November 5, a limited collector's edition of the Xbox 360 and PC versions will retail as well, Activision announced today. The limited editions will have a $10 premium over standard prices, according to mega-retailer GameStop.
Both the 360 and PC collector's editions will include a hardcover book with final artwork and other images from the game. The 360 version will also include a bonus DVD with "four hours of interviews and features, an exclusive documentary exploring the British S.A.S from World War II to modern day, and a series of 'making of' vignettes," according to the announcement. The PC exclusive pack-in will be a digital copy of the BradyGAMES Official Strategy Guide, since PC gamers will apparently need more help than their console counterparts with the title. As far as the lack of a PlayStation 3 collector's edition, the amount of space on a standard Blu-ray disc would probably be more than enough to include the 360's bonus features, but then 360 collector's edition owners wouldn't feel very special.
