Lastly, I checked out the NBA Live 08 demo that hit XBLM the other day and by some kind of miracle it seems those guys finally unsucked the game. 06 was just unfinished and 07 made me want to cut myself with how sloppy it was. I now look forward to kicking Maarten's ass on the internets with NBA Live 08. I sure hope season mode stuff is good.

Is it possible in CSS to disable the text-decoration within a hyperlink itself? For example I have a link where I want some text and also a div that contains a box. I want the text outside the div to be underlined like normal, but the text within the div to not be underlined.

      That has no effect and here is some fun facts I found. Apparently this is completely intended by CSS specs
      
      "This property describes decorations that are added to the text of an element using the element's color. When specified on an inline element, it affects all the boxes generated by that element; for all other elements, the decorations are propagated to an anonymous inline box that wraps all the in-flow inline children of the element, and to any block-level in-flow descendants. It is not, however, further propagated to floating and absolutely positioned descendants, nor to the contents of 'inline-table' and 'inline-block' descendants."
      
      The really cool thing is I'm trying to mess around with divs or spans trying for inline blocks or absolutely position floats and it works in some browsers but not in others. Firefox won't display it right at all. IE partially does, Opera seems to get it right.
      
      Seriously how is it I always manage to find the most ludicrous shit that should be simple to do. So basically if text has some sort of decoration you cannot undo that decoration in a sub element in any way that is consistent across browsers, how awesome!
