Call of Duty 4 Engages in Modern Warfare Nov. 5

Infinity Ward's Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare (PC, PS3, X360) assaults retailers worldwide on November 5, publisher Activision has announced. The first in the Call of Duty series to shed the World War II trappings of it predecessors, Modern Warfare brings the franchise into the current day with updated weapons and combat scenarios torn from the headlines. I fully expect this to be goddamn awesome. Hopefully it will replace Vegas as my console FPS of choice (in between Halo 3 co-op goodness).
