Rockstar's Table Tennis Heads To Wii

Rockstar Games today announced that its 2006 Xbox 360 table tennis game, Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis, is heading to the Nintendo Wii. "Ever since we released Table Tennis, fans have been asking us to create a Wii version," said executive producer Sam Houser. "By bringing Table Tennis to the Wii and utilizing the motion-sensitive Wii Remote, a new audience can now experience a game that is beautifully designed and impossible to put down." Developed by Rockstar Leeds and Rockstar San Diego, Rockstar Games presents Table Tennis for the Nintendo Wii will be released this fall.

I'm not sure if the controls are precise enough for this kind of game. Wii Sports tennis just registers if you move the controller, its not pinpoint accuracy.

Sounds like a perfect fit although I wonder how the graphics will compare. TT had amazing player models and animation.

I've never played the Xbox version. Is it 1v1 and 2v2? Or just 1v1? If you can do both, I'll definitely be picking this up when it comes out.
