New Halo 3 Single-Player, Multiplayer Screens

Bungie has released a single screenshot confirmed to be taken from the single-player campaign of its immensely anticipated upcoming Xbox 360 shooter Halo 3. No further details were given regarding the context of the screenshot, which depicts famously faceless franchise hero Master Chief, but it appears to be drawn from a cutscene. Today's release follows a much more substantial screenshot update earlier this week, consisting of 17 screenshots from Halo 3's multiplayer side. Most of the shots are from levels not featured in the game's now-ended public beta. In addition to maps such as Epitaph and Last Resort, the screens show some of the new Spartan armor configurations for multiplayer.

I don't like the design of the armor in that game. It's Iconic, granted, but when I think of the future I think of sleekness, not angular, unnecessary adornment.
