EA Confirms Playground for Wii, DS
by Chris Remo, Jun 18, 2007 6:09am PDTElectronic Arts has officially announced EA Playground, the mini-game collection for Wii and Nintendo DS first mentioned last month. In development by EA Canada, the game aims to recreate "childhood thrills" through "over-the-top gameplay" and "a ton of collectibles," according to executive producer Dave McCarthy. Amongst EA Playground's features are games such as RC car racing, tetherball, dodgeball, bug hunting, and others. EA has released two screenshots from the Wii version of the game, as well as a piece of concept artwork. The publisher plans to ship EA Playground this fall.
