Hey!! i want to play C&C 3 online, but cant. DLing the latest patch through EA proves impossible, as it never starts DLing. All firewalls and stuff r down, so its not that!! >:(

I then tried DLing it thruogh shacknews and got it, put it in patches folder, but again, it wont let me play online - saying i need to update, which is BS...
Anyone kno wots going on, or have experienced this and kno how to help meh!?! kty <3

The sides are very symmetrical. Most of the online games revolve around unit spam depending on tech stages. Almost all of the online games I've played lasted around 5-7 minutes. Hopefully you can click quick. If your into an arcade style RTS, C&C 3 is your game.

Nice to see EA patching things, hopefully they will learn to not release unfinished products as much if they keep having PR disasters like this.

And Gamespy has been up and down (mostly down) for everyone in Europe for the past 4 days, yet they haven't made any sort of statement as to what the hell is going on. Its affecting every Gamespy powered game, not just generals.

These have all been small patches though. It's a good start for sure, but will EA continue fixing problems and polishing up the game in the long term?

How balanced is multiplayer in this?

It looks like I'm at the final Mission of the GDI campaign (Bern). I'm kinda disappointed because all I did is defending yellow/blue zones :-(. I'd prefer kicking that Alien ass everywhere. Beside of that the game is great and fun.

Btw, wasn't C&C 3 supposed to tie both series (Red Alert and Tiberian) together? I remember reading that somewhere. Kane showed up in Red Alert games, didn't he?
