Every once in a while I'll reinstall Quake 3. I'll join an old favorite server, get completely owned, and then uninstall Quake 3.

  I went through a nostalgia bout with Q2CTF a while back... I can remember being able to run with the big dogs with 32 or 64 player servers completely full.
  
  Nowadays its just 2 or 3 people using these laser hooks that zap them across the level in 1.36 seconds and they bounce up and down the level like a super happy fun ball and in the meantime seem to rail you from both sides and up and down without even looking. And these most annoying sound effects to boot.
