Teleporting Coming To Vanguard

i played this game to level 33. All i can say is these guys are doing desperate attempts to keep people playing. Right before subscription month expired they hosted a "Double XP" weekend. Yeah I fell for it. A week later I canceled my account. Its just too boring and generic of a mmorpg. I mean if its your first mmorpg then it might be more fun, but I kept having the "been there done that" kindof feeling. Kindof looking for a fresher mmorpg with new ideas. Basically this one is EQ2 with a different ruleset.

So people are mad that you can teleport...but no one mad that the game title is misleading because there are no vans to guard?

i think letting you teleport to your friends is a great feature, all MMORPGs should do this, it sux having to run/transit around just to just to your buddies

they were anti-teleports and anti-portals previously. they did enough beta testing and heard enough people bitching during beta about needing something like this and they still ignored it.

until all their subscribers started quitting, lol.. nice approach, a for effort, f for fucking miserable failure of what could have been such a good MMO

also, no official forums is shit and making 'unofficial' forums at silkyvenom is so cheap. devs are not 'required' to respond there, like they should be in official forums, but they reply to the most retarded threads once a month on silky. 'omg loL WHEN I CHANGE MY PANTZ SOMETIMES THE OLD PANTS TEXTURE STILL SHOWS' then a dev will be like 'Hello Bobby! We will be addressing that in the next patch, thanks!'

meanwhile the most important complaints get overlooked and yada yada yada... ah well, i tried to like the game

I think that was 2 weeks ago? I can't keep track of time, I just remember the amount surprised me because I wasn't expecting them to break 100k that fast.

They are desperate. The game has a horrible reputation and their "hard core" fan base is so bad they've driven off many a paying customer. If you make the mistake of mentioning you've played WoW or EQ2 they will literally hound you out of their forums.

Did I mention the game is a buggy POS?

if you're going to go 'hardcore' then go 'hardcore'. this move just shows their balls to the wall approach was BS and failed miserably.
