Those DX comparison shots just threw me off of wanting to even play Age of Conan. I'm not buying an entirely new PC + OS just to play the game the way it is supposed to look. It appears they are raping the DX9 version for some reason, because I've seen dx8 games that look as good as that junk. Artificial roadblocks in software never help anybody.

I am just thankful to see a fresh crop of 360 games that are not all sports or something from a movie/tv/animation franchise. Walking down the 360 aisle at most stores is not a pretty picture when most of the titles are either sports or from a franchise. Makes me long for the old days when you would have stand alone fresh new killer apps crop up for consoles.

I havent been paying much attention to Conan. Is that game a MMORPG? It looks amazing if so. Looks damn good for any kind of genre really.
