So I grabbed an OEM coppy of Vista to put on the laptop since I wanted to see what al the hip young kids are using. Seems pretty nifty to me. It's pretty much a well polished XP to me so far. Of course I havent tried installing much stuff so I'm sure there are compatibility problems that come with every new MS OS.

- iPhone might be popular
- Music biz pondering ads

Lastly, as if there was any doubt.. both next-gen DVD formats have now been cracked so any possible advantage or disadvantage to that is [edited by Remo].

      steam: yes. Photoshop: yes. etc: depends on which etc.

      Steam does. All the games i've tried so far do with the latest nvidia drivers on a 7900 pci-e. YMMV depending on what hardware/drivers you're running.
